9’2 high roller SURFBOARD
This 9’2 gun was involved in the Rolls Royce Summer Studio Project where it was driven on the roof of a Rolls Royce Ghost from London to the South of France visiting Cannes and Biarritz; then it was back to the UK and the home of British surfing; Cornwall.
The surfboard was shaped in Cornwall by Paul Reisberg of Arbo Surfboards so it doesn’t just look good on the roof of a Roller but if offers maximum performance in the water as well. It is made out of Paulownia - sourced from sustainably managed and certified (FSC / PEFC) forests. It features 24 carat gold leaf rails and detailing. The marquetry incorporates a combination of natural and dyed veneers including American Walnut, Ripple Sycamore, Fumed Figured Eucalyptus, Dyed Figured Anegre, Dyed American Tulip and Birds Eye Maple amongst others.
